Eileen Hasson’s business, The Computer Co. of West Hartford, runs the computer network for the Hartford Marathon Foundation as a charitable donation.

It has also developed a free website for Clothes Make the Man, a nonprofit organization that helps low-income people with business attire and coaching for job interviews.

has also donated its expertise to such other nonprofit groups as the Connecticut Opera and the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra.

“We like to get involved with the community,” said Hasson, who is one of eight women honored this month by the Connecticut Technology Council for technology leadership under a program called Women of Innovation.

Hasson, president of The Computer Co., which handles data management, operates computer networks and develops websites for small and medium-size businesses, received an award for community innovation and leadership.
